The McIntosh County Shouters performed for the opening of the new Pin Point Heritage Museum in Pin Point, GA

November 19, 2011--The Pin Point Heritage Museum is the site of the former A.S. Varn Seafood Company which closed in 1985. The buildings were renovated as a tribute to the people of Pin Point who made their living at this factory.

This event was attended by about 500 people from around the country. The group once again received great praise for preserving such a special part of the Gullah Geechee culture.
